Some of you may have heard of the viral sensation, Dubai Chocolates, and some of you may not. It is made with pistachio paste or crème, a tiny bit of Tahini paste, toasted Kataifi (shredded phyllo dough) and coated with dark chocolate. After a number of calls asking if I made the Dubai Chocolate Bar, I decided to attempt it. I tried the original recipe and liked the taste, but not the texture - the Kataifi lost its crunch☹. I decided on A Chocolate Studio version that uses chocolate, pistachio paste and the Kataifi. There is absolutely no moisture to soften the Kataife so it retained its crunch. My taste testers loved it!
